Good Neighbor Alliance is officially celebrating the grand opening of their brand-new dog kennels, a long-awaited solution to one of the biggest challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness.

For many individuals at their lowest point, their dog isn’t just a pet — it’s their companion, their comfort, their protection… their family. And too often, the fear of being separated from that bond has kept people from seeking the help they need.

That changes today.

With the opening of these kennels, GNA is now able to provide a safe place not just for individuals — but for their beloved pets as well. This milestone means more people can access shelter, support, and resources without having to give up the one thing they may have left in this world.

This project has been in the works for quite some time, and thanks to the incredible support of the Legacy Foundation of Southeast Arizona, that vision has officially become reality.
