🚨 MAN ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE AFTER DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INCIDENT 🚨

The Sierra Vista Police Department arrested 41-year-old Octavio Luna Thursday night following a domestic violence incident in the 500 block of Carmichael Avenue.

According to police, officers responded around 9:35 p.m. after SEACOM received a 911 call where screaming could reportedly be heard in the background. During the investigation, officers learned there was an active court order prohibiting contact between Luna and the victim. Police say Luna allegedly assaulted the woman, threatened to kill her, and attempted to stab her before being taken into custody.

The woman was evaluated by medical personnel and did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

Luna was booked into the Cochise County Jail on charges including DV Attempted Homicide, DV Aggravated Assault, DV Aggravated Harassment, and Preventing the Use of 911 During an Emergency.

“Sierra Vista, AZ. 05/15/26. The Sierra Vista Police Department arrested a man for attempted homicide last night.

On Thursday, May 14, at about 9:35 p.m. Sierra Vista police responded to the 500 block of Carmichael Avenue for a report of domestic violence. Southeastern Arizona Communications (SEACOM) received a call where no one spoke to the dispatcher, but a male and female could be heard screaming in the background.

When officers arrived, they contacted a male subject who denied any altercation. However, officers observed a woman in the home who appeared to have been crying and seemed frightened. When officers tried to speak to the woman, the man answered for her, insisting that everything was fine. When officers asked to speak with the woman outside, the man brandished a screwdriver as a weapon, making stabbing motions and demanding the officers’ handguns.

Officers took the male subject into custody. During the investigation, law enforcement learned that there was a court order in place forbidding contact between the two individuals. Despite this, the man was at the woman’s apartment and an argument escalated into him physically assaulting her, threatening to kill her, and attempting to stab her. She was evaluated by medical services and did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.

The male suspect was booked into the Cochise County Jail on several charges including domestic violence (DV) attempted homicide, DV aggravated assault, DV aggravated harassment, and preventing the use of 911 in an emergency.”

⚠️🐻 BLACK BEAR SIGHTING REPORTED ON FORT HUACHUCA 🐻⚠️

Fort Huachuca officials are asking residents to remain alert and take precautions following a recent black bear sighting within the cantonment area.

As warmer months continue, wildlife officials say bears become increasingly active while searching for food sources, making it especially important for residents to help reduce attractants around homes and neighborhoods.

Fort Huachuca’s Environmental team says they are actively monitoring the situation and working to prevent future encounters while keeping both the community and the bear safe.

Residents are being reminded to take the following precautions:

- Keep trash cans indoors in accordance with Garrison policy
- Secure small pets and pet food
- Eliminate accessible food sources
- Remove bird feeders
- Keep outdoor grills clean

Officials emphasize that strong community compliance with these measures can greatly reduce the chances of dangerous human-wildlife interactions and help prevent situations where bears may ultimately need to be euthanized.

Fort Huachuca residents are encouraged to remain aware of their surroundings and report concerns through appropriate installation channels.

‼️🔥TRUMP HATER ARSON SUSPECT IDENTIFIED AND TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN TOMBSTONE FIRE INVESTIGATION 🔥‼️

The Tombstone Marshal’s Office has announced that a suspect has been identified and taken into custody following an arson investigation connected to a fire reported at the Trump Store in Tombstone earlier this month.

According to officials, the investigation stems from a May 4, 2026 incident at the Trump Store, located at 1474 N. Highway 80 in Tombstone.

Investigators identified the suspect as 58-year-old Donald William Rudy of Benson.

Authorities say surveillance footage reviewed during the investigation showed Rudy arriving at the scene in a white Ford Raptor pickup truck. Investigators allege the suspect exited the vehicle, removed materials from the truck bed, and intentionally ignited a fire near brush and vegetation in the area.

Due to windy conditions at the time of the incident, officials expressed concern that the fire could have rapidly spread and threatened nearby businesses, property, and surrounding areas.

A witness reportedly confronted the suspect at the scene and later provided investigators with a statement. The witness also positively identified Rudy during a photo lineup conducted as part of the investigation.

The Tombstone Marshal’s Office stated that an arrest warrant for Rudy was issued on Monday, May 11, after he reportedly failed to appear in court in an unrelated case. Authorities then enlisted the assistance of the Cochise County Regional SWAT Team to execute a search warrant and take the suspect into custody.

The case is now expected to be forwarded to the Cochise County Attorney’s Office for review and potential formal charges.

The Tombstone Marshal’s Office thanked community members, witnesses, and the Cochise County Regional SWAT Team for their assistance throughout the investigation.

Lee Ann Marie O'Connor, 16 years of age, 5'6", 130 pounds, black hair, blue eyes, last seen at approximately 9:30 pm on May 13, 2026, before leaving her residence in south Sierra Vista on foot without her phone.

O'Connor is possibly wearing a black hoodie, black and white pajama bottoms, black and white DC shoes, and carrying a black/white backpack.

O'Connor has butterfly tattoos on her right arm and the tattoo "tomorrow and back" on her left arm. Nails on one hand are black, possibly the right hand, and no nail color on the other hand.
