One local graduate just challenged Cochise County to help create $500,000 in student scholarships!

After receiving support that helped him attend college years ago, Cochise College alumnus Humberto Lopez has pledged $250,000 to help future students. Now, every donation made through the new LIFT Matching Gift Campaign will help match that gift and expand scholarship opportunities for local students.

For many Cochise College students, the biggest obstacle isn't ability, it's affordability.

HAPPY 250TH FROM AMERICAS COPPER CHAMPION FREEPORT-MCMORAN‼️This Fourth of July, their haul trucks are carrying more than copper!
