NO CLEAR ANSWERS YET IN TRAGIC SUNDAY I-10 CRASH TAKING TWO LIVES: The Arizona Department of Safety gave Coolfmlive the following statement in regards to the accident on I-10 near Benson AZ Sunday morning which a vehicle traveling east crossed the median and hit the back of a semi-trailer traveling west on the other side.

"At 8:23 am on Sunday August 16th there was a three-vehicle fatal collision that occurred at westbound Interstate 10 at milepost 300.

A passenger vehicle was eastbound when, for an unknown reason, it crossed through the unprotected median and into westbound traffic, sideswiping another vehicle and then under-riding the trailer of a commercial vehicle striking the tandems. The driver and passenger in the at fault vehicle were pronounced deceased on scene."

An investigation re-enactment will be taking place to see if a clearer understanding of how the accident happened and why over the next few weeks.

First light on the Huachuca Mountains rarely reaches everything at once. Monday's are no different.

High above Carr Canyon Road, it found the peaks and cliffs first, warming the stone with amber before descending far enough to half-paint Carr Falls... higher streams brightly glowed while the lower streams flowed majestically through shadow.

In that motion, as water cascaded down the cliffs, lays a metaphor for Monday.

We sometimes enter Monday expecting clarity—a bright path, a full tank of ambition, and perhaps a detailed memo from the Universe explaining exactly what comes next. Instead, most weeks begin like this mountainside: partly illuminated, partly uncertain, with plenty still hidden beyond the reach of morning.

But here, in this frame, Carr Falls doesn't wait for sunlight to complete the picture. It keeps moving.

Maybe that's all we need as well. Not a view of the entire week's intentions, but just enough light to help us make that next decision enough courage to take the next step, and enough faith in ourselves to keep moving through the shadows.
