On March 6 and 7, guests are invited to experience the all-new Outlaw Escape Experience — a fully reimagined, immersive Wild West storyline that transforms a traditional zip line ride into an action-packed outlaw ambush escape.

This is not just a zip line — it’s an interactive adventure.

Guests begin their journey inside a replica Old West Marshal’s Office, where they receive a video briefing from the town Marshal that sets the stage for their mission. The City of Sierra Vista continues to expand its multi-use path network to increase safety and connect residents to essential goods and services. Plus, the City has just released the updated Vista 2040 General Plan for a 60-day public comment period. Joining us for this edition of City News Roundup is Sierra Vista Public Information Officer Elizabeth to let you know more about these topics and what they mean for residents.



Multi-use Path Network Topics:

Current/new projects along Highway 92 from Foothills Drive to Avenida Cochise and along Buffalo Soldier Trail from Golf Links Road to Fry Boulevard. New grant funding for a project along the bypass from 7th Street to Coronado. Other priority projects, including paths along Highway 92 near ALAHow drivers and multi-use path users can increase safety.

Vista 2040 General Plan:

Failed to gain voter approval in 2024 General Election, so we continue to use Vista 2030 which was developed in 2014.

Arizona law requires cities to have and update a general plan every 10 years.
