We do this by donating 20% of our table fees to a local non-profit EVERY single month!

At approximately 3 years old, Holly is an American Bulldog mix with a heart full of love and a personality that shines once she gets your attention. She’s currently the shelter’s longest resident, spending an incredible 367 days waiting for someone to finally say, “You’re coming home with me.”
Meet Holly:

• Medium-sized American Bulldog mix
• Extremely sweet and loving with people
• Loves attention and being around her humans
• Treat motivated and toy obsessed
• LOVES to play ball
• Walks nicely on leash
Holly came to the shelter as an owner surrender when her previous owner could no longer care for her. While she absolutely adores people, Holly is selective about her doggy friendships and prefers a quieter social circle.
She’s part of the shelter’s “Gentle & Dainties” play group — a fitting place for a girl who prefers peaceful company and enjoys doing life at her own pace.
Holly’s Perfect Home:
* A family ready to give her the love she deserves
* Preferably as the only dog — OR with a calm, laid-back dog
* A meet-and-greet required if another dog is in the home
* Plenty of playtime and tennis balls
* Someone willing to let Holly simply be Holly
Recently, Holly had the opportunity to become an “office foster” with one of our local businesses, and they had nothing but glowing things to say:
“Holly is such a happy girl, not timid at all. She loved looking at herself in the mirror, playing with toys and definitely treat motivated.”
After more than a year in the shelter, Holly still hasn’t given up on finding her people. She continues showing up every day with a wagging tail, a hopeful heart, and plenty of love to give.

🚁 Want to Fly Drones Professionally? Cochise College Launching FAA Commercial Drone Training in Sierra Vista 🚁
Quick Fact: Drones aren’t just for cool videos anymore. 🚁
They’re being used right here in Southern Arizona for ranching, agriculture, inspections, emergency response, photography, utilities, and even search and rescue work. And now there’s a local opportunity to learn how to fly one commercially.
Cochise College is offering a two-day FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Training course in Sierra Vista that prepares participants for the FAA Remote Pilot Certificate exam.
Participants will learn:
• FAA regulations and airspace
• Operating requirements
• Safety and risk management
• Real-world flight operations

Friday, June 19 & 26, 2026 ┃ 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
$250 per person ┃ FAA Test Fee: $175
The course is led by experienced FAA Part 107-certified instructors with backgrounds in first responders, agriculture, utilities, and government operations.

GUESS WHO'S COMING TO MAMA'S⁉️ David Russell, owner of The Thirsty Lizard Bar & Grill, has announced a second location in Sierra Vista. Russell shared with Coolfmlive that he will be taking over the former Tell Mama spot 325 W Fry Blvd on the West End in June. Russell is excited to enter the Sierra Vista market and stated, "The Thirsty Lizard Oasis will offer the same atmosphere and menu items as The Thirsty Lizard Bar + Grill near Bisbee🦎, as well as new additions. Hours and opening dates are still to be determined, but the establishment plans to cater to the daytime/lunch crowd during weekdays and late nights on Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday Brunch will feature crafted drink specials and Xtreme Bar Bingo." Russell highlighted that reintroducing Karaoke will be a top priority after installing a pool table. The venue will also host original live bands and artists, and a Thirsty Lizard 2Go! Food Truck will be on site during select times. Cochise College alumni, friends, former employees and supporters are invited to reconnect during the Alumni & Friends Social at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 28, at Tombstone Brewing West End, 332 N. Garden Ave. in Sierra Vista.

Talk about a fun Cochise County coincidence… this prom season crowned not one — but TWO local prom queens named Cheyenne!
At Tombstone High School, Cheyenne Hopkins took home the crown, while over at American Leadership Academy Sierra Vista 7-12 , Cheyenne Flores earned the same honor.
And if that wasn’t enough — both are known by friends and family as simply… “Chey.”
What started as a funny coincidence quickly turned into one of those feel-good community moments that reminds us just how connected our local towns can be.
Different schools. Different memories. Same first name. Same big smiles. Same unforgettable milestone.
Beyond the crowns and the dresses, both young women represent what their classmates clearly saw in them — kindness, confidence, leadership, school spirit, and the ability to make those around them feel seen.
