Vehicle Burglary Investigation – Sierra Vista
The Sierra Vista Police Department is asking for the community’s help identifying a suspect connected to a recent vehicle burglary.
📍 Around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday March 3, 2026, surveillance footage captured an individual attempting to enter a vehicle in the 2900 block of Quail Run in Sierra Vista, AZ.
📍 Later that morning, a vehicle burglary was officially reported in the 2700 block of Quail Run.
Thanks to a vigilant resident who submitted Blink camera footage through SVPD’s tip portal, investigators are now releasing the video in hopes someone recognizes the individual.

🚨🚨 URGENT TRAFFIC ALERT – AVOID THE AREA NOW 🚨🚨
Drivers in Sierra Vista — PLEASE use caution and avoid Charleston Road & Colombo Avenue at this time.
According to officials, the crash occurred when a silver Hyundai Elantra traveling eastbound on Charleston Rd. failed to stop at a red light and collided with a gray Hyundai Santa Fe that was headed south through the intersection.
Authorities confirmed there were no life-threatening injuries reported as a result of the crash. However, occupants from the vehicles were transported to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Additionally, there was no indication of speed or impairment as contributing factors to this accident.
