WORLD'S LARGEST ROSE TREE · Rose Tree Museum The world's largest rose bush is a White Lady Banksia, located in Tombstone, Arizona, at the Rose Tree Museum. Planted in 1885 from a cutting sent from Scotland, it covers roughly 9,000 square feet with a 12-foot trunk circumference. The rose blooms in April, producing thousands of white flowers.

The Tombstone Rose Festival is an annual celebration showcasing the blooming of “The World’s Largest Rose Tree”. This event is sponsored by the Tombstone Vigilettes, a non-profit, charitable organization of ladies portraying The Women of Tombstone, Arizona from 1880 to 1915!

The festival will feature the coronation of this year’s Rose Queen on Friday the 10th. The Rose festival parade at 11am Saturday the 11th along with musical entertainment, dancers, and other fun activities. Then Family Fun on Allen Street with the Tombstone Vigilantes on Sunday the 12th. This year’s festival promises to be another fun weekend of good family entertainment!!!
