🚨 BREAKING: SWAT ON SCENE OF REPORTED INCIDENT IN SIERRA VISTA🚨
SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. — A significant law enforcement response is underway right now in a Sierra Vista neighborhood near Carl Hayden Drive and Andrea Drive.
CoolFMLive has been advised that the response involves a reported standoff. SWAT personnel and other first responding agencies are currently on scene.
Details surrounding what led to the response, who may be involved, and whether there are any injuries have not yet been officially confirmed.

IDENTITY RELEASED FOLLOWING FATAL SR-80 MOTORCYCLE CRASH IN BISBEE‼️
BISBEE, Ariz. — New information has been released regarding the fatal motorcycle crash CoolFMLive first reported Saturday morning along State Route 80 near the Lavender Pit.
The motorcyclist has been identified as Nicholas Thomas Rockwood of Bisbee AZ.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:45 a.m. Saturday, September 19, near milepost 342 on State Route 80. CoolFMLive reported Saturday morning that the incident involved a single motorcycle, with no other vehicle believed to have been involved.
Pima County Medical Examiner list Rockwood’s death as accidental, with blunt force trauma identified as the immediate cause of death.
The Bisbee Police Department is investigating the crash which has said at this time the investigation is still ongoing and additional information regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash have not been released.
🕊️REMEMBERING NICK 🕊️
Rockwood was also well known by those involved with Live to Ride, the motorcycle event held in Tombstone. Organizers shared with CoolFMLive that Nick’s involvement went far beyond simply supporting their events — he worked nearly every event they held and had become a very good friend to those involved.
Live to Ride organizers told CoolFMLive:
“He went beyond supporting our events, he worked nearly every event we’ve done. He was a very good friend. We sold him the bike he was on when he passed, and he had actually just gone riding with us last weekend from our event in Safford. He was a fantastic person and the world has lost a light.”
For those who knew Nick through the local motorcycle community, Saturday’s crash represents the loss of a friend and someone who regularly gave his time to help make these events possible.
CoolFMLive extends its sincere condolences to Nick’s family, friends, the Live to Ride family and everyone who knew him.
We will continue to follow the investigation and provide additional verified information as it becomes available.
